 Director of Case Management in Hawaii.
· This acute care hospital is part of a multi-hospital, non-profit health care system. The Director oversees case managers, social workers, a clinical documentation specialist and other staff. The department often meets or beats their ALOS goal.
· Ideal candidates will bring expertise with Medicaid & Medicare patients, be familiar with RAC audits, and establishing policies and procedures. The department is fully staffed with motivated, certified employees. Successful candidates will be skilled team-builders comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment.
· We seek a leadership style that includes high visibility, the ability to mentor and lead by truly connecting with staff, and having an appreciation for the concept that process is as important as outcome.
· This key position reports to the CNO. A master’s degree in a clinical discipline is required; a nursing background is preferred.
· There is an attractive salary, benefit, and relocation package including temporary housing upon relocation.

Workers Compensation Telephonic Case Management Position, it is full time, permanent, and has excellent benefits. The position is located in Lake Mary.
 
Job Description: Responsible for assessment, planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals involved in the medical case management process.  Working as an intermediary between carriers, attorneys, medical care providers, employers and employees, you will closely monitor the progress of the injured worker and report results back to the employer and insurance carrier.  This will ensure appropriate and cost-effective healthcare services leading to a medically rehabilitated individual who is ready to return to an optimal level of work and functioning.

University of California Irvine Medical Center:  Director, Case Management & Social Work

 Blue Marble Executive Search has been engaged by UC Irvine Medical Center to lead the search for this newly evolved and very important position.
 
UC Irvine Medical Center is a world-class, Magnet, academic medical center and the only university hospital in Orange County, CA. The 449-bed medical facility offers a full scope of acute- and general-care services, including a regional burn center, Level I Trauma Center, NeuropsychiatricCenter, Level III neonatal care unit and a National Cancer Institute designated comprehensive cancer center.  U.S. News & World Report has recognized the facility as one of “America’s Best Hospitals”.
 
Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Director, Case Management, is responsible for the strategic direction, leadership, planning, organizational and general management for all aspects of the Case Management program.  The Director is responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing success of department and organizational objectives and goals.  The Director is responsible for the Case Management, Utilization Management, TransferCenter, Denials Management units, and the Clinical Social Work program.  Currently responsible for a staff of 80 FTEs.  The Director will have the support, commitment and resources from the entire hospital leadership team to develop and implement a successful Case Management program. 
 
Successful candidates must possess licensure in Nursing or Social Work with a Master’s in Nursing, Social Work, Healthcare Management, Business, or related field.  Minimum of 5 years of Case Management leadership experience preferably with a teaching hospital.  UC Irvine offers a very competitive compensation package including base salary, incentive bonus, extraordinary benefits and relocation assistance.
