Laurie Davis
Laurie graduated from Royal Inland Hospital School of Nursing in 1965. She became licensed in Canada and later in NewYork, New Jersey, Tennessee and Florida. Her past experience includes Director of Nursing of Hospital staff in all three states noted above, attending nurse for Air ambulance flights, Director of Home Health, and Director of a residential facility for severely challenged children. She first became involved in Case Management upon moving to Florida in 1976 and has held many positions on the CMSA board of directors including Presidency. Most of her case management experience is in Rehabilitation, Workers Compensation, Short and Long Term Disability and Medicare Set Asides. Newly semi-retired, she is working contract work for several Case Management companies. Last years community project was to spearhead a mission supplying cloth diapers to orphanages in Haiti. This drastically cut down on the expense and pollution. This goal now being fulfilled, she is directing the writing, performance, and production of a video related to Bullying for the elementary public schools.
