Darlene Armstrong, RN, BA, CCM has been a nurse since 1984. She has lived and worked in Florida, Ohio, California and Colorado. Darlene started her nursing career at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton. She started her CM career with Blue Cross of California and worked for several years with Tricare. Most recently she is employed by UMR, a division of United Health. Her background is in Medical Case Management with specialization in Transplants. She is a graduate of Manatee Community College and Graceland University. Her medical experience included oncology, cardiac and ER nursing. She has served on the board of Central Florida CMSA for several years.
